Christine was diagnosed with Lupus about 20 years ago. Due to some pain in her lower abdomen she had an ultrasound which detected an ovarian cyst. As a protocol of this finding, her doctor recommended that she have a mammogram. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Christine decided to go with Dr. Lim and Dr. Spiegel for her breast reconstruction surgery. Dr. Lim performed a double mastectomy and then Dr. Spiegel performed the reconstruction immediately after. In this video, Christine explains how fortunate she was to be working with such a wonderful team and considers her experience to be a blessing.
