Buxton Crescent Hotel Highlights, Staying at Ensana Resort Historical Eighteenth Century Thermal Spa

How much history can I squeeze into one video with a splash of 21st Century relaxation for good measure?!

This is my latest YouTube video, which is a bit of a break from my normal content, but fancied trying something a bit different. Mr BLC wanted to vlog and review our stay at the beautifully refurbished Buxton Crescent Hotel managed by Ensana Hotels, but I told him it could only go on my channel because of it's interesting historical angle. We do however equally appreciate a good relaxing spa day. So we hope you find this highlights reel inspiring if you fancy staying at Ensana Buxton Crescent and an interesting look at the historical spa town of Buxton plus a glimpse inside this amazing Georgian building.

In this video we showcase the highlights of our to visit an historical spa town and stay in the refurbished Eighteenth Century Buxton Crescent which is being run by Ensana Spa and Health Resorts. This hotel is full of history blended with stunning modern spa facilities. The hotel has only just opened after a long refurbishment and amidst the pandemic. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy our first hotel break in over a year and relax in the warm thermal water.
The reason I’ve decided to include this video on my channel is because of the historic features of the building, from stunning Georgian 1780s architecture commissioned by the owner of Chatsworth, the Duke of Devonshire, to the Deco 1920s pool and the beautiful Victorian park nearby. This is the perfect location to indulge in a spot of historybounding, especially if you are a fan of the Georgian era, a miniature, Bridgerton style Bath or Victorian era aesthetics.
