Hi, I'm Jane, I have been painting with gouache for over 20 years and 10 years ago I started painting miniatures or more accurately ACEO's (art cards editions and Originals) which are 2.5" by 3.5". I then took a break from painting about 3 years ago but in the beginning of 2021 I decided I wanted to paint again. I had started a series about 2 witches - Matilda and Josephine and thought I would carry on there but I decided to make them bigger, then I decided to paint a life size tiger portrait, this took a very long time and half way through I realised I wasn't enjoying it. As a result I realised that what really gave me joy was painting my little ACEO's, creating fantasy art and exploring my somewhat overactive imagination!
