Y'all I really appreciate all the comments of information on this brilliant man, and I loved hearing from all the people who've listened to his music longer than I have. I will be reacting to his newer music videos soon as well as his EP's, including the ones with other DPR artists just because I feel like I'll love the vibe of the music. When I did my initial reaction to his music videos, I was basing my assumptions on the clues I felt he was dropping in the music videos and the lyrics. I was aware of a few basic facts regarding him, but I was not aware of the fact that he actually had DID. That is until after I had already recorded the reaction and stumbled upon a live from this month of September where he started talking about it, and how long he's realized he has had it. I'm really grateful for artists like DPR IAN, because they help take away the negative stigmas that have somehow been attached to mental health and mental illness. It's so important for BIPOC people to see artists like him who are going through the same things they are and not sugarcoating the lows that you sometimes go through. Like I said in my reaction here he is definitely one of my favorite artists out right now.
