What happens when you turn 18 and suddenly have... nothing? That's Veselin's reality after growing up in a Bulgarian children's home. At 18, he was thrown into the deep end - no parents, no safety net, just himself against the world in Bulgaria (aka the EU country where young people struggle the most to make ends meet). We follow Veselin back to Elhovo, the small town where he spent seven years in institutional care, as he revisits the places that shaped him.
Despite the crazy pressure, he's hustling at a hotel bar job while chasing dreams of writing and painting. Veselin's story isn't just about surviving - it's about finding your "why" when nobody handed you the manual to adult life.
