Odyssey of the Seas: CocoCay Bahamas on April 10th, 2022

Описание: On April 9th the Odyssey of the Seas set sail on an 8 night Southern Caribbean sailing. Originally scheduled to make a lap around the caribbean with a stop in Grand Cayman, covid restrictions led to several itinerary changes. Sailing round trip from Ft. Lauderdale she made stops in Willemstad Curaçao and Oranjestad Aruba as originally scheduled, as well as the addition of CocoCay in the Bahamas.

April 10th saw her reach her first port of call with a visit to CocoCay in the Bahamas. Despite having to turn back to Port Everglades for a medical emergency she still managed to arrive on time and docked prior to the Freedom of the Seas who joined her for the day. Both ships were docked at 7 AM with the crew going ashore to prepare the island for the guests to head ashore at 8 AM.

At 4:30 both ships saw an all aboard with the Odyssey of the Seas ready to go shortly afterwards, likely aided by its large security room built into the vessel. She departure at 5:00 PM with the Freedom of the Seas departing shortly afterwards and each heading in their own directions. Later in the day we passed the Disney Dream at Castaway Cay and later at night the Mariner of the Seas on her way to Labadee.
