Higashikōzan Daijōji Temple is a prominent Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The temple was founded in 1289 (late Kamakura period) by Keizan Jōkin, a key figure in Sōtō Zen, establishing it as the first Sōtō Zen training center in Kaga Province (present-day Ishikawa).

The temple complex features a traditional arrangement of the Seven Major Halls (Shichidō Garan), including the Black Gate (Kuromon), the Red Gate (Akamon/Sanmon), and the Butsuden (Buddha Hall). The Butsuden, which was constructed in 1702 and is built in the Zen-style architecture, has been designated as a National Important Cultural Property of Japan. Daijōji continues to serve as a specialized training monastery (Sōdō) for Zen monks.
