The Beachwood Police Department hosted its first-ever “Cookout with Cops” event on Wednesday, May 14, drawing over 500 attendees to the Beachwood Playground for an afternoon of food, fun, and meaningful conversation.
About a dozen Beachwood police officers were in attendance, grilling hot dogs and offering kosher-friendly options while chatting with families and residents. Children took full advantage of the playground while the city added to the festive atmosphere with yard games, a DJ spinning music, and an interactive display of police motorcycles, bicycles, and e-bikes for kids to explore.
