In August we announced the start of Redefining Africa, a passion project that we’d been putting together for almost an entire year. In September we headed out for three months on the first of many journeys throughout the continent of with a larger than life goal of transforming the current narrative that the western world has been built around the continent, something that we are passionate about as Kojo was born in and spent the majority of his life in Ghana.
Not only do we want to share the beauty, biodiversity, and cultures throughout the countries in Africa, but we hope to inspire other families to experience and immerse into them.
In this episode we share the start to our trip, from Houston, Texas, all the way until we get to Serengeti, Tanzania, our first official stop.
