ఎక్కువ యుద్దాలు ఎవరు గెలిచారు? | India vs Pakistan Wars Explained In Telugu | Mana Badi Facts | India Pakistan Wars History in Telugu | India vs Pakistan Conflicts & Wars Explained Simply in Telugu
After gaining independence from British rule in 1947, India and Pakistan were formed as two separate nations. While independence brought freedom, the partition caused one of the largest human tragedies in history. Nearly 15 million people were displaced, and over 1 million lives were lost due to communal violence. Unfortunately, tensions between India and Pakistan did not end there and continue even today.
The first India–Pakistan war (1947–48), also known as the First Kashmir War, began after Pakistan invaded Jammu & Kashmir using tribal forces. Maharaja Hari Singh acceded Jammu & Kashmir to India, following which the Indian Army intervened. India secured two-thirds of the region, while Pakistan occupied the remaining area, now called Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). This war ended with a UN-brokered ceasefire, and India emerged victorious.
The second war in 1965 was again initiated by Pakistan through Operation Gibraltar, attempting to create unrest in Kashmir. The plan failed, and India launched strong counter-attacks. The war ended after UN intervention and the Tashkent Agreement, with India maintaining the upper hand.
The third war in 1971 was fought over East Pakistan (Bangladesh). Pakistan’s oppression of the Bengali population led to a massive refugee crisis in India. After Pakistan attacked India, the Indian Armed Forces decisively defeated Pakistan within 13 days, leading to the creation of Bangladesh and the surrender of 90,000 Pakistani soldiers.
The fourth conflict, the Kargil War (1999), occurred when Pakistani troops crossed the Line of Control and occupied Indian territory. India launched Operation Vijay, recaptured all positions, and forced Pakistan to withdraw under international pressure.
In every major conflict between the two nations, Pakistan initiated aggression, and India emerged victorious. Even today, tensions continue, but history clearly shows that India has always defended its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
