Описание: "A heart-warming and genuinely surprising feature film" about vulnerable kids struggling to make sense of our absurd immigration system.

The film will question how and why our system proves to be such a lottery and spearhead a campaign. LTR will create a debate surrounding the flaws in our current system and the devastating impact it is having on the children involved.

The educational programme has already begun. Bruce Goodison and the LTR team have been working for a year so far with these young people and the agencies who work with them. We run film making workshops so these teenagers receive acting and technical training in order that they can truly be part of this film.

LTR will have the unique moniker of explicitly pointing out that ALL the stories and situations depicted in film have happened. The script will also be drawn down from first hand accounts, and will include the involvement of some of the people directly affected.

Scheduled to shoot in Summer 2010, we are currently in pre-production.

To date 150k has been granted by The Oak Foundation. We are looking for a further 850k to shoot the film and fulfill our ambitions for the campaign and educational programme.
