Fix Your Planer Dust Collection // Woodworking Shop Hack

Описание: DIY fix planer dust collection - ABSOLUTE shop game changer! It's no secret that almost all of the lunchbox/tabletop planers have terrible dust collection (minus the DeWalts), to the point that most people completely remove the dust collection and just run it as is, piles of chips and dust and all.

Not us. Not anymore.

Ads this video was filmed it's winter in our small Oregon one car garage shop, meaning we have two options for planing since the stock dust collection is terrible on these machines: open the garage door and freeze, or keep the door closed and add a nice thick layer of dust and chips all over the shop. Until option 3 came along...adding 4" dust collection the planer that ACTUALLY works.

No joke, to this day, I'm still trying to find what's wrong with the mod. It's working that well that I feel I messed something up.

For the price of a few plywood scraps, screws, and an $8 vent component from the Big Box Store you can enjoy the completely dust-free world of thickness planing.
