Hello dear woodland friends! ❤️
In Hungary, we celebrate Christmas on the 24th, so this is my quiet little Christmas moment.
I made a chocolate cake for the occasion — with zucchini in the batter and sweet potato in the cream.
There are a few pine trees in the garden, and the owner cut some branches and placed them back in the forest. I brought a few inside and used them as Christmas decoration on the ceiling — for two simple reasons. I haven’t used a cut Christmas tree for a long time now. I can only see the living space it once was, not a decoration to enjoy for a few weeks and then throw away.
And the other reason? My three fairy cats climb, chew, knock over absolutely everything. 😄
This felt like the safest and most honest way to bring a little festive feeling into the house.
