Feeling bloated at lunchtime? 🤔
You may think it’s best to eat a salad…
Or maybe you just grab a bar and some fruit…
OR… you might decide to just skip lunch altogether.
But guess what! If you’re already bloated, none of these do your gut any favors.
Here’s what I’d do instead:
✨ Start with some deep belly breaths to calm your nervous system and turn your digestion on.
✨ Then eat something light, nourishing and easy to digest that won’t make your bloat worse.
Some of my go-to’s:
A cozy cup of warm bone broth with a small side of berries. Simple, soothing, and satisfying.
Canned sardines or salmon mixed with creamy avocado—rich in protein + healthy fats and gentle on your tummy.
Blend up a simple smoothie with some greens (spinach, romaine or a little parsley), collagen, chia seeds, berries and an unsweetened non-dairy milk — nutritionally balanced, satisfying and easy to digest.
✨ Sip on warm herbal teas throughout the day—ginger, lemon and peppermint teas help ease bloating.
