UPDATE: Man Stabbed in Butler Township Park

Описание: BUTLER TWP. -- Butler Township Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed in the bushes of Art Van Atta Park Thursday morning. Investigators say his attacker is still out there and is considered dangerous. A woman who was doing her daily jog at the park, heard loud screams coming from the bushes around the fishing pond area of the park just before 8:00 a.m. She called 911 immediately. The victim has been identified as Allen Stone, 25. He is recovering at Miami Valley Hospital and is expected to be okay.He had multiple stab wounds in the neck area, the back of the head area and behind the shoulder area of his back, said Chief John Cresie with Butler Township Police. The stabbing is an unlikely occurrence for Art Van Atta Park. Edward Rhey brings his grandchildren here often and was shocked a stabbing happened feet away from where they play. That's a shock to me that something like this happened because I thought this was a pretty peaceful park, the kids play baseball over there sometimes we stop and watch them play softball over there we really like this park, I hate to see something like that happen in a park like this, said Rhey. Investigators say Stone was attacked, but the suspect description is vague. Police won't know much more information until Stone is able to comprehend and off medication from being in the hospital. The only description he was able to give was another male, possibly of Hispanic descent and that he was clean shaving, said Chief Cresie.
