It was later released as a re-release for the Sega Genesis and Snes under the title Batman: Revenge of the Joker.
In the game as before as Batman must overcome various obstacles, on the way destroying enemies, and at the end of some levels, according to the classics of the genre, there are battles with bosses, but this time it is not pure platformer, but rather a action shooter in the spirit of the Contra series, because Batman this time fights not in a fist fight and shoots from various gadgets that look like mini versions of firearms.
The plot of the game is not very much traced here, because the game has no cutscenes with dialogs, well that is not quite no, but they are literally only 2 and dialogs as I said, they do not have, so you have to think up the plot yourself, although here with it all is simple and from the title it becomes clear that the Joker is alive and again commits crimes in the city and Batman will have to stop him again.
The graphics in the game don't look like something incredible, but they are quite nice.
The soundtrack in the game is still at a high enough level, here you should give credit to the composers, they know their business, but I will note that the most amazing soundtrack is in the NES version of the game, in all other games I did not like it at all, but this is my personal opinion, you may not agree with me.
It is also worth noting that the versions of this game are also very different both in visual style and finale, most versions do not have serious differences, while the SNES version has a completely different ending, so what version of the game to pass you decide, but I remembered the version for NES.
To summarize, we can say that this game is not bad and there are games about Batman much worse, but the fact that Batman now we have beats on enemies with firearms is not very fit in the concept of the right hero, but still this game I also liked it very much, it is not too long, moderately complex, mostly all the complexity of the game is in the bosses, but with certain tricks complexity is not so acutely felt, so I highly recommend to pass this game, if you have not played it yet and you would like to spend the evening under a pleasant game from the past.
And another 90's masterpiece joins the library of good games.
