Today I'm reviewing public transport in Bangkok Thailand, starting with the MRT and making my way on the BTS and a Thai bus.
The MRT and BTS in Bangkok are incredibly impressive, as they're clean, air-conditioned and very well organised. Getting a public transport ticket in Bangkok is a breeze, since there are vending machines everywhere and every station has a counter too.
Bangkok buses are sometimes really old and vibey, but they're being gradually replaced by new ones. Luckily, I was able to get on an older bus that runs between MBK Center and Silom.
Is public transport in Bangkok better than in Jakarta? In my opinion it's close, but Jakarta's transportation system is better priced.
