I check out some retro games and VHS tapes on my Sony Trinitron 20" CRT TV (Model KV-20VM30) manufactured in 1996 with an internal 4 Head VCR. #retrogaming

• 00:16 - Independence Day (1996) VHS tape on Sony's internal VCR
• 01:25 - Top Gun (1986) on an external Panasonic VCR
• 02:54 - Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (1998) on the Nintendo 64
• 07:07 - Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) on the Sega Genesis Model 2
The night I shot this video, I filmed playing through Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and will be uploading those videos for the next few weeks. So a walkthrough of the game on a CRT TV instead of the typical digital screen capture. A bit of retro gaming for fun and nostalgic content on my channel.
I bought this Sony CRT at an estate sale in April of 2023 for $28 and it's been an awesome TV to display my VHS collection and old games on. #nintendo64 #roguesquadron
I use a bit of ASMR throughout the video using a Sennheiser microphone on a mic stand close to the TV connected to my camera via XLR (and adapter) for a no-hassle sync. It gave it a bit of room tone so I did de-noise some of that in Adobe Audition.
