The Novotel Sheffield Centre is a modern 4-star hotel located in the heart of Sheffield, offering 144 spacious, air-conditioned rooms. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar serving international cuisine, as well as leisure facilities including a heated indoor pool, fitness centre, and steam room.
The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Crucible and Lyceum theatres, Sheffield station, and the Winter Garden, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. 
Standard Queen Room with Convertible Sofa 406 Virtual visit, here is my objective assessment:

I stayed in December 2024 and the price of the room was 98 British Pounds which was equivalent to around 123 US dollars.

Positive points:

Tea and coffee making facilities 
Milk portions for coffee available in the fridge. Very good idea.
Fridge in room 
Iron in room
Fan in room. I'm not quite sure how positive that is.
Rain head shower 
+They do have a pool and a steam room though they are very small and limited to 8 people. It is necessary to book in advance.
Location very central. There is a back door that leads straight onto the winter garden.

Negative points:

Soundproofing in room not great
Couldn't get my phone to pair with the TV. Chromecast didn't seem to be working
The Shower is hard to turn on with soapy hands. I think all Novotel's have this same problem.
At breakfast they didn't replenish the pastries or the smoothie one hour before the end of service. Very bad organisation.
The cleaning lady came in the room before 12. Surely they know if their customers have checked out or not. That is well out of order.
