Don Bosco Prep's NJ Non-Public A 2024 title defense (in the new NJ Non-Public tournament field of 24) would stretch all the way to the 2025 NJ Non-Public state Final, where the Ironmen would fall to Seton Hall Prep 12-6 in a 2024 title rematch. Bosco finished 2025 17-7, winning their 5th consecutive Bergen County Championship and 5th consecutive Gibbs Division crown in head coach Matt Lane's second season.
Ridgewood finished their 2025 season 13-6, losing to Bridgewater-Raritan in the NJ North Group 4 sectional semifinal.
