Supreme favourite! Mydaddypaddy impresses on hurdles debut | Racing TV

Описание: Mydaddypaddy is only a four-year-old, but the Walk In The Park gelding looks likely to take high rank in novice hurdles this season with Grade 1 targets on the agenda after a facile win on his seasonal return at Carlisle.

Several of trainer Dan Skelton's horses have been taking a run so far this term, but the well-backed favourite went through this contest very easily under jockey Harry Skelton and pinged the first flight in the straight before sauntering home to win as he liked, his second such victory from only two starts so far.

Skelton suggested Grade 1 company at Aintree on Boxing Day could be next ahead of the spring, where the Cheltenham Festival will surely enter calculations despite this gelding's fairly precocious years.

Mydaddypaddy is into 8/1 for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle - from 12/1 chance Bambino Fever - while he's into 16/1 and in and among the market leaders for the Turners Novices' Hurdle in March.
