Liveaboard Solitude Adventurer in Raja Ampat - Amazing Dive Trip Indonesia

The diving was amazing and the vessel as well as the service is outstanding. The MV allows for so much space at multiple decks to spend time and/or avoid company (as you feel like it).
The prime location is (of course) the super spacious dive deck where you gear up, with a huge table to put all your more valued belongings plus your own storage box. Space, space and again space is a massive factor. Leading to comfort which, on this catamaran, is clearly a massive bonus.
We were lucky to get as a couple a nice 4-bed cabin, but also the twin cabins are big enough on the upper deck. Also there is a big area for recharging gear, never felt crowded.
Diving is, as expected, just wonderful. Just be aware of the season (monsoon or not, etc.). This might affect visibility slightly and the creatures you may see. All the beautiful presentations known from the advertisement can be found, however the occurrence of specific bigger pelagics are definitely dependent on the dive season. So study well and pick wisely.
For us, this was not an issue, since this was our first Raja Ampat trip and we were happy with anything. After all, whatever you see under water is just gorgeous.
Dive director and guides are fabulous. The briefings are superb. Every dive is guided and bombastic. Fish everywhere embedded in a mesmerizing underwater landscape. Again, visibility (more plankton) and current can, at times, be a bit challenging. We recommend to have at least 50 dives under your belt, ideally with experience in deep- and current diving. As a comparison you can see similarities to some strong channel dives in the Maldives.
