In this video, we dive into an unusual electrical issue on a Smart Fortwo Coupe 451 1.0 MHD where the ignition stayed on even after removing the key from the ignition switch. This fault triggered a cascade of DTCs across multiple modules.
After a thorough investigation, we discovered that aftermarket dash cam wiring was back-feeding the ignition circuit, keeping it live. Once the wiring was corrected, all related symptoms were resolved.
We walk you through the diagnostics, fault codes, and the full fix. Perfect for technicians, Smart car owners, and automotive enthusiasts!
