Social Justice in Banking

Описание: Banking has followed the rest of corporate America down the road of social justice. The real problem is that there is a lot of knee jerk reactions going on without analysis. There are a lot of claims to problems going on however organizations have not been reviewing anything more than summary statistics. A summary statistics such as the average person in Group A makes more than Group B doesn't mean anything without a full analysis of why there is a gap. Are individuals making different decisions which result in different outcomes or is the system itself broken? If the system is broken why not try and fix the system instead of trying to do adjustments. And if you want to do an adjustment, how much of an adjustment should be made? Again, you need data and a thorough analysis not random programs that attempted to make people feel better.

The social justice movement is really focusing on not a fair game for everyone to play but an equal outcome regardless of the effort or skills of individuals. The SJW movement is a war on individuality which is the corner stone of capitalism and meritocracy which is why the American economy and banking industry have been so dominate in the past.
