Alif and Mim are vowels and consonants respectively. Therefore as Llam comes in between Alif and Mim it becomes Pesh with a AO sound. This can be seen in clear examples in names such as Azaruddin, which reads Azaralddin in written form in Arabic script. Therefore ALM now reads AAOM. or AUM. what is AUM? Aum or Om is the mystical sound that is recited before almost every mantr/shloka in vedic prayers in Hinduism. But modern Hinduism is a grown up teenager of the Pure Sanatan Dharma.

Is thus mere jumping into conclusion? Only because as per Arabic grammar the letters combined sound so? It is not. It is basic common sense that, when Allah has revealed the entire Qur'an for the welfare of mankind, why would the Most Merciful hide the meaning of just 3 letters? Any one might say, it is not an AUM but something else, but then again Qur'an is the book of the believers in Allah and the last day. Therefore it is from Allah Himself that it is said.

To validate this claim, the One Lord, who is the Cherisher of all worlds in one of the earliest revelations to mankind, says, in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the most sacred book of the Sanatan dharmis, Srimad Bhagavad Gita 10.3: "yo mamajamanaadim cha vetti lokamaheshwaram asammudhaha sa martyeshu Sara papaih pramuchyate" artat: he knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the supreme Lord of the worlds-he only, undeluded among men is freed from all sins.

And to equate the same truth, in the Qur'an, 112.003 says, "He begets not, nor He is begotten"
Therefore God who reveals the Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the same as of Qur'an! Therefore in the very same Gita, the Lord proclaims 7.8: "raso'ham apsu kauntenya prabhasmi shashisuryoh, pranavah sarvavedeshu shabhah khe paurusham nrshu" artat: O son of Kunti, I am the taste of water,the light of the sun and the moon, the pranava of Vedic mantr and I am the sound in ether and ability of man. Here the Pranava the great One mentions is the Omkar or the AUM. Which when recited fast becomes Om.

Therefore by all means the 3 disjointed letters are nothing but the Pranava which is again the AUM.
