The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label presenting the eighth installment of its celebrated GLBLMVMT series. Since its launch in 2018, the project has showcased region-specific compilations curated by standout local talents, exploring the progressive landscapes of Argentina, Cyprus, India, France, Sri Lanka, Colombia, and Greece. Now for its eighth edition, the focus turns to the Netherlands, with Dutch artist W&DY curating a nine-track journey featuring some of his country's most creative voices in progressive house.

Getting the release underway is a true legend in Dutch electronic music, Jaydee, who delivers the cinematic and groovy sounds of Luna De Sangre. Best known for his 1992 anthem Plastic Dreams, Jaydee's timeless approach continues to influence dancefloors around the globe. Following on is Alex O'Rion, one of the Netherlands' most acclaimed progressive exports, with The Singing Grove, a deep and richly layered piece that showcases his melodic finesse.

Collection curator W&DY steps in next with Tale of Me, a hypnotic and emotionally charged creation that highlights his unique production voice. Rising Dutch talent Miss Dominguez then makes her mark with Silver Crane, a track that blends delicate atmospheres with driving grooves, bridging sophistication and energy. Daniel Testas follows with Mind Reader, an introspective cut filled with subtle motifs and rolling textures.

The collaborative effort Hartstocht comes from Du more and Clay van Dijk, two names pushing the Dutch progressive underground with their fresh sonic vision. Up next is Callecat with Elevation, a piece that lives up to its name, full of bright harmonics and ascending energy. Austin Dest continues the journey with Remouchamps, a deep and atmospheric work that merges groove and storytelling. Concluding the collection is Stage Van H with And the Journey Begins, a fitting closer full of emotive depth and timeless character.

With a carefully curated selection of exclusive tracks, GLBLMVMT 08 – Exploring The Netherlands highlights the country's rich and diverse progressive scene, while adding another essential chapter to the Movement Recordings legacy.
