Cory Johnson - Eight Melodies (ft. Lauren the Flute, pingosimon, and AarekMG)

Описание: This was an arrangement I put together for "Vocal Month" in Dwelling of Duels for July 2021. It's THE "Eight Melodies" from Mother. I couldn't think of anything else more appropriate for vocal month than that brilliant arranged album. And I was very fortunate to recruit some super talented friends and musicians from my VGM circles to help out on it. It wound up taking third place out of 28.

I was really happy with how this turned out, because I was fairly anxious to recruit others and ask them to take time to record parts. But also, I arranged this one in the middle of a pretty busy month. Stuff going on at home and at work. As well as two separate Marshall Art commitments. So this felt like the triumphant victory lap at the end of a very hectic and busy month that capped off around my birthday. So, it was a nice birthday present to place in the Top 3 of DoD.
