Well we're here. The Final Boss! Rank 1! Are you pumped? Are you ready? Well get ready for the biggest disappointment of your life!

Jasper Batt Jr. is the worst boss in the game, BY FAR. I was on the fence for most of the LP, but I've come to conclusion that this boss is so god-awful,
and such a waste of time, that there is no boss close to the terrible feeling you get when fighting him.

This travesty of a boss (see what I did there) is a 3 Parter, with each form of the boss having terrible flaw(s) / design choices.

Form 1 - This is the best of the forms, which still isn't saying much. He's easy as hell, and really only has 2 attacks to hit you with. One of those attacks can even damage him! However, the big flaw of this boss lies with the halfway point of the fight. When his health is down roughly 45% you will be unable to damage him. The game WILL NOT tell you this, other than you looking at his health bar. What the game expects you to do is to clash with him when he charges. How you are supposed to use logic that you are supposed to clash with A CAR, is beyond me!

Form 2 - Holy fuck. This is one of the worst bosses I have fought IN MY LIFE. The premise is stupid. His attacks are extremely quick. Next to all of his attacks can knock you down. Halfway through the fight he has TORNADO punches which are even faster / more powerful versions of his ALREADY annoying attacks. He can teleport around the room, MID-COMBO, also leaving your Ecstacy (if you can get it) almost useless. Not to mention he has one of the few insta-kills in the game which can trigger if you are even in the middle of the arena. And worst all, this fuck can knock you down, WHILE YOU ARE GETTING UP. This leaves you completely screwed if his AI decides to spam the punch combo, and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Also, keep in mind THIS IS ON NORMAL DIFFICULTY. I feel sorry for people who waste there time on this asshole on Bitter mode. Such a god-awful boss, it boggles the mind.

Form 3 - That's right people. The final boss is a FUCKING BLIMP (when I say blimp, I mean party float-type blimp) How does this happen. Henry even lampshades that this boss is idiotic. But just because the game admits it, it does not justify it. This boss is just annoying, but not as ridiculously cheap as Form 2. His attacks are very easy to dodge if you hug the boss itself, which is what you have to do in order to hit his weakpoints. Unfortunately, while doing this, the camera freaks out. Half the time, you can't even tell where he's attacking, or what YOU are even doing. You basically just need to Mash "A" and pray that the boss ends soon.

Also, the character of Jasper Batt is crap. How the hell he managed to climb his way of the "UAA" is beyond me. The only reason he is, is because he basically owns the city. That's not a climactic final boss. Fighting an ultimate antagonist, that has unlimited governing power, does not work for a game about AN ASSASSIN ASSOCIATION!

The only redeeming quality of this boss is the music. Feet on the Air, and Travesty are both great tracks, but they DO NOT make up for every other shortcoming this boss has.

It really pains me to see a game's quality drop SO LOW, in only a matter of minutes, especially at the conclusion of the game. I really want to "love" this game, but sequences like this make it impossible. Jasper Batt is one of the worst fights, and biggest cop-out final bosses in the history of gaming.

Tomorrow is the insultingly short ending (not including the ending Sylvia cutscene) and all my thoughts on the game.
