Historian Alina Nowobilska explores the ruins of Hydrierwerke Pölitz, an industrial megacomplex hidden in the Polish forest. At the height of WWII, this fuel refinery and its surrounding coal plants and buildings covered an area the size of Monaco. The refinery produced lubricants, gasoline and motor oil for the Wehrmacht.
