After going through 4 different brands, my Giandel inverter has run without any problems for a year, and the 3000W should be sufficient to run a car charger and small A/C unit.
I wound up having to do ground bypass using a GFCI outlet and an extra fuse for safety. This allows me to use a ground detect "appliance", like an electric car charging cable, with a portable inverter. My next video on the channel is about this bypass. This can be done safely (The Renogy 3000w inverter I originally used for this project came from the manufacturer with an internal ground bypass), but you are working with wires that will be transmitting 120v AC power, so use caution and stay focused during the build.
