The Smooth-X is only a 2-axis gimbal so it is not the best choice for everyone but it does a decent job smoothing out video shot on a smartphone compared to filming handheld. The are many features that make this a compelling device including a telescopic handle, switching to portrait mode with a touch of a button, and the fact you can use it with a microphone attached. Due to its small size, it is easy to pack and you will most like make more use of it compared to larger bulky models. Watch for sample footage and comparison filmed while using the Zhiyun Smooth-X.
