Can you hear the voice of God… in your heart or in noisy busy streets, can you feel his gentle footsteps that guide your straying feet, can you feel His hands above you, protecting you from harm and his gift of peace seen in nature’s calm? Isn’t it a miracle that just when you feel lonely and blue there unannounced a friend comes to soothe and comfort you, isn’t it a miracle that when everything seems lost, you are urged to fight no matter what the cost? Lord God, we thank you for the gift of the universe. Yes, we thank you for the marvels of the sky the secrets of the sea, the wonders of the earth, the mysteries of life, and the mystery of death, and the change of seasons and the changes of life the things that test our human spirit, the strength and courage that take us beyond limit. Yes Lord, we thank you for the miracles that we witness every day in our lives, and the miracles that our minds cannot comprehend, our hearts cannot contain the miracles that our lips cannot recount. Lord we can never praise you enough; we can never thank you enough even if we were to do so, without ceasing throughout our life. Yet, Lord, we praise, we thank you with all our hearts with all that we have, with all that we are.
