Summary:
Do you sometimes find yourself feeling unsure when treating clients in the LGBTQ+ community? Do you wonder whether the term: “cultural competency” applies to the LGBTQ+ community? If either of those answers were “yes”, this training was designed for you!
The umbrella of culture reaches beyond ethnicities, religion, or disabilities. During this training, you will learn about the concept of cultural competency within the LGBTQ+ population. You will gain necessary tools to help engage with clients, learn how/when to utilize these tools and review research supporting their efficacy.
