This Chem-E-Car works using thermoelectric generator and uses cold ice water + salt on one side and spirit lamp/ candle light on the other side. The temperature difference across the 8 thermoelectric generators creates sufficient voltage that can drive the motors used for running the car.
This video is created to show our potential participants how easy it is to create a Chem-E-Car model. However, the participants can come up with more innovative and complex designs and different chemicals or chemical reactions if they will.
So, get ready with your models and show us how you can win this race to grab some exciting prizes.
