In this video I show you a simple way to make a bicycle saddle bag. All you need is a sock, plastic bag and a show lace if using method 2 or 3.
Commercially made saddle bags can be expensive, bulky and they can spoil the sporty look of a bicycle. I first started using this method of a sock tied to the seat pole in the 1990s and since then I've used it while descending dozens of mountain trails in Australia. Provided that you do a good job of tying it on it will never fall off.
