Winter on our little homestead in Ontario looks a little different this time of year ❄️
There are no herbs growing outside, no garden beds to tend, and no chickens to let out. Instead, it’s snow-covered windows, warm coffee, three sleepy dogs, a curious cat, and one very patient lizard waiting for his morning light.
In today’s video, I’m sharing a slow, realistic winter morning before work in our small townhouse. Homesteading doesn’t always mean acres of land sometimes it simply means caring for what you have, cooking from scratch, living intentionally, and building a simple life right where you are.
This season may look quieter, but it’s still meaningful.
