Описание: Kia's Carens is hard to say no to. But there are three areas where it is lacking. First, the suspension, a familiar Kia complaint from our side. But let me be clear, it is good enough. It can feel quite plush in the city, and it deals with potholes and speedbreakers well too. But the comprise is that it still moves around a bit, it jiggles and bounces which means it can feel a bit tiring when going over longer distances. Second, it is an expensive proposition. Sure prices start at just over Rs 10 lakh but surely you want an automatic Carens right, which means you will have to spend at least Rs 16 lakh ex-showroom. For that money, you could get a top-spec Maruti Suzuki XL6, and have change left over while having as much practicality on the inside for passengers. Third, the safety factor. The Carens packs in 6 airbags, ESP, and other safety tech as standard but in Global NCAP's crash tests it scored 3 stars, which is just about acceptable.
