In the Necrohol of Nabudis you can chain a gargoyle (elvoret) to get the second best heavy armor in the game (Maximillian).
While in the Necrohol, you might as well get the ingredients for a great sword. What you need is:
1. (10)Holy Crystal dropped from the Babil mob in the Necrohol.
2. (4) Quality Stone dropped from the same mob.
3. (7) Sky Jewel dropped from the Bogey mob in the Zertinan Caverns.
Once you sell that loot, you get the Attenuated Greatsword (Save the Queen).
As an added bonus, I somehow got the Babil mob to drop a Runeblade, a one hand sword for the knight job. Not the best weapon, but fairly decent.
