After waking up in the middle of the night to discover our flopper stopper wrapped around our floating chain, today’s mission is simple: find the flopper stopper & surf our brains out!!Spoiler: The ocean had other plans.
We launch the drone, jump in for some speed-snorkeling, and search every direction… but Cloudbreak keeps our flopper stopper as a souvenir. 👋⚓️
Next stop: Nomotu Island, where the surf options are endless and the waves range from dreamy to downright funky. Connor scores some epic rides and some wipeouts worth frame-by-frame rewinding.
Just when things calm down…our watermaker membrane decides to quit.Thankfully Connor goes full MacGyver and rigs up a temporary way to turn salt water into drinkable water. Legend.
We snorkel, surf, and soak up the magic around Namotu and Tavarua until it’s time to head back to Musket Cove for fresh veggies, ping-pong battles, and the longest dinghy commute to more surf duh!! :)
