ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഒരു കത്രിക ഉഷ ജോസഫ് എന്ന രോഗിയുടെ ശരീരത്തിൽ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ തെറ്റ് ഏറ്റുപറയുക എന്നതാണ് ഡോക്ടർമാരും സർക്കാരും ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന മിനിമം കാര്യം. എന്നാൽ അക്കാര്യത്തിൽ അനാവശ്യ ന്യായീകരണത്തിന്റെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തലുകൾക്കുമാണ് ചുമതയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഡോക്ടർ മുതിരുന്നത്. അനുദിനം ക്ഷയിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിന്റെ ആരോഗ്യരംഗത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകമാണ് ഈ സംഭവം.
