Описание: At the end of a particularly harsh winter, spring has come, but it is not a very powerful spring. Although snow has stopped falling by May, it has not melted, and although the sakura have begun to blossom, they have not done so to a great extent.

We find Marisa at her lair cooking up some new magic, but not something for fighting with: This is magic for enjoying the flower viewing. She realizes that something is up when she arrives at Reimu's shrine, expecting to be late for the viewing, and only one tree has blossomed.

And nobody is there.

Why are the sakura blossoming so sickly? The youkai of Gensoukyou say that this year's spring doesn't seem very energetic. Looking at the shrine, Marisa gets a bad feeling and investigates. Inside is completely opened up, and her bad feeling grows. There's no way that Reimu would leave it opened up like this for so long unattended.

This is taken as a sign that something has happened.

Come to think of it, the youkai have been acting strangely too. Even Alice and Patchouli have seemed unusually down.

Out of all of this, Marisa is most concerned by Reimu's apparent disappearance, and flies off to investigate.
