The detox process can last from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. The length of a patient’s detox depends on how much they’ve been using, the amount they’ve been using, how long the addiction has occurred and what types of drugs and alcohol have been used simultaneously.
When patients arrive, they are first given an assessment to figure out the best detox approach, what treatments should be administered, and for how long. Whether there are pre-existing medical conditions or complications as a result of the drug or alcohol use, our medical doctors and nursing staff care for patients from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
Our patients are under 24-hour observation and our nurses check vital signs around the clock. On a daily basis, patients are assessed by medical and psychiatric staff to provide a well-rounded, multi-disciplined approach to treatment.
