Spanning 135 acres, the newly opened center includes gardens, farmland, educational facilities, a vocational school, and a marketplace. Open to visitors—religious groups, students, CEOs, and the vulnerable—it embodies the Vatican’s integrated mission of faith, environmental care, and community. The ceremony featured a symbolic pilgrimage, hymns by Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo, and a Liturgy of the Word with a Rite of Blessing. The project aims to foster “integral ecology” through sustainability-focused education and leadership training.
