India’s domestic tractor industry delivered a strong performance in November 2025, supported by favourable rural sentiment, Rabi season preparations, and strong financing support. Wholesale tractor sales reached 92,745 units, up from 71,300 units in November 2024, marking an impressive 30.08% year-on-year growth. Although most manufacturers saw healthy volume growth, market share realignment continued across the industry.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group (M&M) led the industry with 42,273 tractors sold, up from 31,746 units in November 2024, registering 33.16% growth. The brand strengthened its position as market leader, with market share rising from 44.52% to 45.58%, a gain of 1.06 percentage points.

TAFE Group recorded 15,088 units, compared to 11,918 units last year, achieving 26.60% growth. Its market share moved from 16.72% to 16.27%, showing a marginal decrease of 0.45 percentage points.

Sonalika sold 10,849 units, rising from 8,812 units, marking 23.12% growth. Its market share shifted from 12.36% to 11.70%, reflecting a lower share by 0.66 percentage points.

Escorts Kubota registered 10,122 units, up from 8,730 units, with 15.95% growth. Its market share changed from 12.24% to 10.91%, lower by 1.33 percentage points.

John Deere delivered 8,788 units, compared to 5,508 units last year, reporting 59.55% growth. Market share increased from 7.73% to 9.48%, with the highest gain of 1.75 percentage points in November.
New Holland sold 3,701 units, up from 3,014 units, achieving 22.79% growth. Its market share moderated from 4.23% to 3.99%, lower by 0.24 percentage points.

VST recorded 450 units, compared to 284 units last year, delivering 58.45% growth. The brand’s market share improved from 0.40% to 0.49%, a gain of 0.09 percentage points.

Indo Farm sold 428 units, up from 362 units, marking 18.23% growth. Market share moved from 0.51% to 0.46%, lower by 0.05 percentage points.

SDF achieved 79 units, compared to 62 units, registering 27.42% growth. Market share remained steady at 0.09%.

Captain registered 317 units, rising from 234 units, reaching 35.47% growth. Market share changed from 0.34% to 0.33%, a gain of 0.01 percentage points.

Preet recorded 412 units, up from 373 units, showing 10.46% growth. Market share moderated from 0.52% to 0.44%, lower by 0.08 percentage points.

ACE sold 238 units, compared to 257 units last year, reflecting 7.39% decline in sales volume. Market share changed from 0.36% to 0.26%, showing a reduction of 0.10 percentage points.
