Описание: This is a review of the RIA VR 60 Semi-auto Shotgun including information on a few issues that I ran into. I also cover O-Ring replacement in the gas block and pistons. The gun comes with (2) five round magazines and those were tested, but I also purchased and tested one of the nine round magazines. Also explored is what happens when you use the light load piston when shooting a large quantity of heavier loads (hint: it's not good for the buffer). *Update 3/22: Got ahold of Advanced Tactical who handles part distribution for these shotguns, and they are going to send a new bolt buffer out (will be a bit though due to covid). *NOTE: I was NOT using the incorrect piston per their tech person. The "heavy piston" is to be used only with 3" loads. The light piston is the correct piston for the 2 3/4" loads I was firing. So that means that owners who do a lot of shooting might want to plan on purchasing a few extra buffers, and on keeping a close eye on the condition of the buffer in their gun. Since mine was heavily damaged, the bolt was able to peen the "stop" in the receiver a bit, though thankfully it wasn't really bad and I think I'll be OK, however I'll be carefully inspecting the buffer after future shooting sessions and will hopefully have extras to replace regularly as needed. RIA recommends a 300 round break-in for reliability, but depending on loads that may be enough to completely vaporize your buffer, and damage your receiver, so beware, and don't shoot turkey loads!!
