On February 3, 2026, Ekaterina Noyes, PhD, MPH, Associate Dean for Translational and Team Science, School of Public Health and Health Professions, and Director, CTSI Workforce Development Core, and Jill Szczesek, PhD, Associate Vice President, Health Sciences Research Administration and Finance, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, explored key principles behind supporting successful teams and creating an environment where research teams can thrive. Szczesek shared her insights on how to build trust, leverage complementary expertise, and navigate the challenges of big team science. In addition, attendees learned strategies to enhance team communication and develop processes and infrastructure to accelerate ground-breaking research.
