St. John Neumann is known as a Priest who went out to all people, bringing Christ to each person he could. He was known as an ordinary man with an extraordinary level of leadership capabilities, which quickly led to his establishment as Bishop. Serving only seven years as a Bishop before he passed at the age of 48, St. John Neumann was the founder of the parochial school system, took part in building the Cathedral, and is also noted for his love of immigrants learning multiple languages so that they may be heard in Confession in their own language.

St. John Neumann lived a remarkable life, and is one of few American Saints today.
