The top thing to do in Tamale is to check out Red Clay Studio. The name Red Clay originates from the burnt-umber earth of northern Ghana. The studio belongs to Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama. In a nutshell, the studio breathes life into things that would have otherwise been thought to be dead.
The studio was opened in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The art in this space is ever-evolving, so be mindful that what you see in my video may vary from your experience.
