Join me and the family as we try, for the fourth year in a row, to hunt down the elusive morel mushroom here in north Georgia. This video contains many outings into many different types of habitat in an attempt to keep our successful streak going. I also discuss tips that help me find morels in different habitats, including my hunting methodology and indicative species I look for while hunting. This videos also contains some accidental herping. We stumbled across a rat snake and a black racer.
Please feel free to correct me if I got something wrong in this video. I'm also still really curious about privet. Anything you know about the relationship between morels and privet, I'd love to hear.
