So I love this song.
And I've been coping with my past.
So I took the song, and took some of my past I needed to deal with, and it all inspired this video.
So be ready for a whole ton of angst.

The basic storyline?
Brooke and Dean dated, but they broke up because things were too complicated for them, and Brooke couldn't take his secrets.
She began to move on, not knowing that Dean was dying, and he never had the heart to tell her because he wanted her to be happy, even it meant her being with someone else.
She sees him having trouble though, and she suspects something.
Dean doesn't want to die, but he gets hospitalized, and Brooke realizes that she's about to lose the one man she's ever truly loved, and she can't stand the thought of being without him, and wishes she could have spared him some heartbreak along the way.
Can't tell you the end....it would ruin the video....

So, the song was written by Nick Jonas about his terminal diabetes--if I didn't want to express my hopes that they find a cure and he gets it, I would have ended the video with Dean's death....but hope is a beautiful thing, so hearts were healed at the end.
